Ed Sheeran Sings 1D & Plays Chubby Bunny With Corden On Carpool Karaoke

The temperature was RISING in James Corden’s car and no, it wasn’t because the heater was turned on.
You guys, it’s the carpool karaoke episode we’ve all been waiting patiently for.
Ed Sheeran hopped in James Corden’s car for a little ride around town and it was everything any Ed and Bieber stan could ask for. Not only did the ‘Shape of You’ singer indulge James as well as the rest of his fans by singing some of his biggest hits like this one.
Ed also spilled some details about how one time he and Justin Bieber walked into a dive bar in Tokyo – no, this isn’t the beginning of a joke – and after a night of drinking, they found themselves at a golf course and then things just got a little crazy.
OUCH. But thankfully the Biebs was a-okay after that incident. According to Ed, Justin was really cool about it and just said ‘ah, bro, ah.’ Before moving on to the next thing. Leave it to Bieber to take a whack in the face and be completely fine after it.
And of course, after that story we got a little taste of what ‘Love Yourself’ would’ve sounded like if Ed had kept the song for himself.
BUT, the whole ride wasn’t just the two of them having a conversation and singing. At one point, James pulled over so that they could have a contest to see who could fit the most Malteasers into their mouth at one time.
The singer eventually won the contest by fitting 55 of those little chocolate balls into his mouth before spitting them out. That’s pretty impressive.
As amazing as this all was, I have to say my favorite part of this segment was when Ed gave James a little rhyming lesson and basically revamped ‘Castle on the Hill’ into a song about LA traffic.
