Team Liquid's Chances at Worlds 2020

Team Liquid will start this world championship in the play-in stage and have a long road to get out of groups. They need a really good draw in both the play-in stage and for the 4th seed of groups to have a chance to make quarterfinals.

i would be interested to watch your pre tournament analysis (similar to this video) for flyquest and tsm as well. its nice to see that some people out there are mildly optimistic about NA despite the complete failures of the region

I’m sorry but If C9 couldn’t beat TSM (not even bring them to game 5) and they kicked sneaky then they don’t deserve to make worlds. I don’t know what makes them think they could beat an LPL team if they can’t hold their own against an NA team

I think the NA teams get criminally underrated. Yes, this year's Worlds is stacked, but both TSM and TL have very well-rounded teams. TL have a lot of solid Worlds veterans, and if they can avoid group B, they have a good chance to make it out of groups alongside G2. TSM is MUCH better than what people will give them credit for. Spica is breaking out of his shell and outperforming most good junglers. Bjergsen is as consistent as it gets, and BB has been clutch when it matters.

If you watched the LEC you'll see how FNC and G2 changed when it got more serious .. they went from 3rd and 4th place to beating every team in playoffs so i expect that they will be more scary in worlds which makes it harder to LCS teams.
