2025 January 20 - Comet ATLAS Rounds the Sun

In today's image, we see comet ATLAS as Imaged by the SOHO spacecraft studying the Sun. The comet just made its closest approach to the Sun and is currently lost in the Sun's glare. If it remains bright as it moves away, it may be visible in the southern skies.
