I am working on a lattice element method, by which the continuum body can be analyzed as truss/spring elements. I find this video quite useful to construct my code for the 3D elements, especially the stress post-processing. Nice work!

When I am following the same steps as you do, I get "unable to perform assignment because the size of the left side is 2-by-1 and the size of the right side is 3-by-1" error at the step "enter 0 if x or y is constrained 1 if not, on node in [bx;by]. The error is in line 37 of BOUNDARY CONDITIONS. How can I solve this?

I was just curious how I would go about changing the units to imperial on your plot and in the code? The example you gave is in my book, but it's in imperial units. Even when I tried converting the units manually I got a slightly different answer.

Sir can we apply finite element method for complex trusses like scissor truss of 8 members and other trusses of more than 10 members. If we can apply then, how we will calculate the angles if there are no horizontal members in the truss? Kindly suggest any book if you can, for the application of FEM for complex trusses
