How to Convert a Hyper-V VHD or VHDX Disk File to a VMware VMDK File

If you have a virtual machine in Microsoft Hyper-V that you want to use in VMware Workstation, you can easily convert a VHD or VHDX disk file to a VMDK disk file. Then you can create a VM in VMware and use this converted Hyper-V VHDX disk for your new virtual machine.
