She worked as Assistant Director at The Open University of Sri Lanka's Ampara study center. She has experience working as a demonstrator at both the University College, Rathmalana and the Sri Lanka Advanced Technological Institute (Hardy, SLIATE).
She has four years of experience working in the corporate sector. She earned a merit pass in her MBA program at London Metropolitan University, a postgraduate degree in science and technology of herbal products from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and a first-class B.Sc. in agriculture science from the Eastern University of Sri Lanka.
In addition she is also a certified life coach with a qualification from the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development.
She is currently employed as Assistant manager at Esoft Metro Campus Batticaloa
