“As a teenager, I received a diagnosis that required brain surgery. Throughout my health journey my interest in being a nurse was really solidified. Today I work in the same department that saved my life. When I walk past OR 21, I think to myself, my entire trajectory in life was developed in that OR. Every day I get to come to work and inspire my team to build connections with patients.”
