I found the young man to be very creditable. I believed him . He did learn a lesson NEVER TAKE ANYTHING IN YOUR SUITCASE FOR A FRIEND OR FAMILY. NEVER

Its very common for asian countries to ask other people if they could bring this and that especially if its from your family members

I don't know why there was the big talkfest, they should've just done the tests !! I feel like that guy didn't fully trust some of his relatives, that's why he was quite nervous. From these shows it seems like the best advice is to absolutely not carry any packages on behalf of other people.

I remember I wanted to be a law abiding tourist and tried to inform the customs in Toronto about the fact I have 500 grams alcohol above the limit. I think they were annoyed by my confessions and pointed at the door.

These immigration officers should be re-trained. They made him look bad. I understand that it's part of their job to ask questions but if they really think that the items should be thoroughly checked, they should have done it right away.

I'm on his side about what turned out to be seaweed. If I had a trusted relative ask me to take a package of, what they said, were homemade cookies to a relative that I could go see when I got home, I would probably trust them and not ask many questions.

I came through auckland airport with my 18 month old kid. Ticked yes to food. While they were taking me to get his car seat they said "baby food is it it"? I said yep and that was it. On our way with no more checks. Even missed the sniffer dogs as we got taken out of the line to get the seat!

Officers' behaviour is completely WRONG AND RUDE. Officers prejudged this innocent passenger. BEFORE THE TESTING "JUDGEMENT" WAS ISSUED. SHAME!

He kept saying "family" and I agreed with him. In our country, it's normal that's why you never do anyone a favor when traveling overseas. Lesson for him
