One of the greatest performances of this sonata of all time. That unique, fiery rendition of the 3rd movement and the bone-chilling, incredibly crystal-clear voicings in the final movement have always stood out to me amongst other great pianists' performances of this piece. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Once you've listened to this performance you can't get it out of your head.
The reprise of the Funeral March after the middle section is extraordinary, simply unbelievable!
I love every single second of this interpretation, miles away from other "more standard" (yet beautiful) ways to play this masterpiece.
After all, we are talking about the way a first class composer reads and understand the "words" of another first class composer!

So many liberties taken but the spirit remained. 'p' where it called for 'f' and vice versa, liberal use of rubato or outright revision of the score but again - not in a bad way. Thank you for finding and sharing
