So it's a parliamentary dictatorship? Sounds a lot like hungaries voting system. The redrawn districts added with the 60 years of one party rule suggests to me that something fishy is going on.
The first law of power is that everyone wants to consolidate it/keep it.
Sounds like that party has a major grip on Singaporean elections
