Great video, excellent demo on a pro detail using modern tools that don’t break the bank. Question: Porsche 911 steel brakes are notorious for having the rotors get a light surface rust on them after wheel cleaning, even with quality neutral cleaners. Without driving the car around the block a few times, how do you get the rust off so you’re not delivering the car back to owner with rust film on them? Even if you drive the car, you then have to wipe the wheels again as they get a light film of rust on them….? Any advice here, as this would’ve happened on this 911

I got the Autobrite direct version of the SPTA (same machine) a few days ago. Like you I sat on the fence about getting one but so glad I finally did. It’s a great little machine. Done all my door shuts and the wheels are next!

I'm shocked with that! Porsche must be using different clear coat.

I had a 5 inch medium cutting pad on DA and was using Sonax CutMaxx and the clear coat on my 2020 Tiguan R-Line pissed itself laughing at me basically!

You literally couldn't tell id polished it even after two sets of 4 passes! At all!

So I'm gonna have to upgrade to some Urofibre 50/50 pads and a full on cutting compound!

I was looking the other way with the reversing of the Porsche that was a tight squeeze 😬
