My Mom and Dad got married in 1949 and went to Nebraska Furniture Mart bought a bed and she gave Mom and Dad a free lamp. They never forgot her kindness.

Sold her home and found a property with a home and restaurant attached to it and built a successful restaurant and raised her children and was able to pay to educate them. She was a fantastic cook and she ran a very successful business. Did not know how to read or write❤❤❤❤

I met this wonderful lady. I was a student, went in to get a small sofa sleeper for my studio. She instructed the salesman to sell it at cost, as it was the only one left, the demo model. She wished me luck in my studies and thanked me for shopping there. Incredible legend of a true lady. Rest in peace.

Mrs. B had a great impact on our family. We bought furniture from the NFM. She employed a relative of mine who had eight kids and needed a job. Lastly, I became friends with her grandson in college. I never met Mrs. B., myself, but she touched our lives in many positive ways. I'm sure many other people in the city could say the same thing. Bless her memory.

I remember her well. My wife and I use to shop in her store in Omaha in the late 70s. She road around on an electric scooter taking care of customers. I still have furniture we purchased there. She helped us many times.
