A lot of you know that we are suckers for tiki drinks. And one of our all time favs is a Mai Tai. But this is no ordinary Mai Tai. We created a tahini orgeat paired with nigori sake, banana cream, and of course, Empress Indigo Gin. It is incredibly flavorful and, come on, it just looks stunning!

T H E . V I C T O R I A . M A I . T A I 

INGREDIENTS : 

½ oz light rum 
¾ oz fresh lime juice 
¾ oz nigori sake (Hakutsuru Sayuri Nigori Japanese Sake)
1 oz tahini orgeat (see below for details)
½ oz banana cream  liqueur (Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum Cream)
1 ½ oz Empress Indigo Gin 
orchid, for garnish 
black sesame seeds, for garnish 
mint, for garnish 

METHOD : 

In a small bowl combine 1 oz of orgeat and 1 oz of tahini (we used Giffard Orgeat and squeezable Tahini). Whisk until smooth. In a cocktail shaker, add all ingredients except Empress Indigo Gin. Shake with ice until chill. Strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Top with an Empress Indigo Gin float. Garnish with black sesame seeds and a mint sprig. Enjoy!
