I'm 70 and 2 years ago I notices that my brain just wasn't working right. Then I found a video on youtube about ADHD. Wow what an eye opener.. apparently I have been suffering with ADHD my whole life and never knew it.. I have an appointment to see the psychiatrist in 3 weeks. I will be telling her about this and much more.. It's never to late to know what's wrong with you...

Thank you very much for your channel and this video! I've just turned 60 and until very recently I had no idea I was a classic ADHD case. I just felt different and rejected and couldn't work it out. Then one day I read about dopamine deficiency and recognized some of the symptoms, so I decided to read up a bit more on it, which naturally steered me toward ADHD. What an eye opener! I remember on the day I turned 60 I was sitting and thinking: my whole life went down the drain with nothing to show for it, I could never keep a job, always surviving on a variety of side gigs, I have no achievements to my name, I'm basically a failure in life. That's when I stumbled across an ADHD video... and it all clicked. Every single trait, I recognized it in myself. It was like coming out into the sunshine out of the dark dipressing hole that had been my life. And strangely enough, just knowing it transformed me into a different person. I became more active, more positive and engaged, simply because I finally knew the reason of all my lifelong troubles. What a relief!

Before you get 50, get a not stressfull job where you can work after you got 50, considering cognitive decline because of age and menopause. 99 % doctors and therapists will not tell you about it !!! If you have to continue in a stressfull job, you get 1. Burnout and if you continue nevertheless 2. Anxiety / Depression and 3. you can't stop the sicknesses. I know many who have it and can't work anymore. And I know some who are fine because of their easy jobs. So avoid stress, please. Hopefully you have a good private occupational disability insurance. Ask for it, if it is not to late. It is nesessary anyway, but if you think you have ADHD it is very important to have.
