What is the one all-wheel-drive Subaru model missing from Subaru of America's lineup? The Subaru Baja pickup is the hot model that would significantly impact U.S. customers this year. The image above from Battle Wagon Gang clearly represents a desirable 2024 Subaru Baja Wilderness trim level. It's what outdoor enthusiasts want and what Subaru of America needs.

It's time for Subaru of America to ask Subaru Corporation to return the Baja pickup to its lineup and build a new compact version for U.S. customers. Which model would be the best for urban and off-pavement adventures? The Japanese automaker could resurrect the Subaru Baja nameplate and should give it the Wilderness upgrades for outdoor and off-road enthusiasts.

Make an awd 300hp turbo with front Center and rear lockers in 6spd Manual and 7 spd auto transaxles matted to long travel suspension with at least 12 inches of travel and sell it for 40 to 45k and they would sell like hot cake shit I’ll buy 2

Build 2 pickups, Subaru. One based on the economical Crosstrek 2.5L and one based on the 2.4T and 3.6L Ascent. Or make convertible CUVs with tailgates, to compete with Maverick, Ridgeline, Santa Cruz, Bronco, AND Wrangler. Offer the floor and tailgate with bedliner.

There was SO much utility in something like a soft-top Jeep CJ8. Wranglers have never been equipped with the utility of an OEM tailgate. Swingates suck, as they eliminate the ability to haul dirtbikes, 4x8 sheets, or many other long cargo items in the bed.

Subaru Corp please listen to me. If you can offer a new BAJA that is EMP proof you will not be able to make enough of them to cover your sales!!
