After learning that we had an invasive plant species on our farm I decided to research all about this plant to learn how I can get rid of it while also benefiting from it. Garlic Mustard is a serious invader who disturbs the ecosystem in several ways. I go over what it is, where it came from, how to destroy it, and how to benefit from it in this video. As always I added a short time lapse at the end.

All information for this video was found through the Ontario Invasive Species Center and the Ontario Invasive Plant Council

Several recipes can be found here:

Hi I liked your video! Very informative. I wanted to ask you how big your property was and if it was hard to find all the areas with garlic mustard. I am going to train my dog to sniff out invasive plant species for volunteer conservation work and thought maybe there would be an application on a farm setting as well. The dog would be able to pin point exactly where all the invasives are with their nose. Would that be a service you or other farmers might find helpful. And let me know, If you need more information about the plant scent detection :)
