Not signing Tarasenko is what is best. If we signed Tarasenko it means giving up on the kids.

Im prob in the minority here but i really dont get the infatuation with him. Is he more than a 50 point player right now? post deadline was fairly inconsistent and is pretty much a catch and shoot guy at this point in case anyone was expecting him to drive a line. and then fans will complain all season that laf has 5 points and playing with nick bonino.

You and Me both, Evan. I am also devastated Chris Drury didn't sign Tarasenko. I think that, if they can't do better this season, Chris Drury's days may be numbered

I think Wheeler will be as good as Tarasenko for a one year deal. He can play in the top 2 lines and power play. For a 1/5 of the price. This leaves room for Drury to sign a healthy Kane.

Tarasenko never fit, I don't get how anyone even thought he could be signed. There was literally no money. I liked Nikko a lot, for 2.5M, ages 27 - 29 it is a great signing. Probably not done by the Rangers because he would be a 6th D man here, but that is a good deal.

Tarasenko typifies Rangers' moves over the last 3 decades...Players come here to die!! Bure, LaFontaine, Jagr, Lindros, Shanahan, Gretzky, Holik...Need I go on!?...His best days are past, spend the money elsewhere.
