Unboxing & Startup of Behringer XR18 Digital Mixer/Stage Box

Un-boxing of the Behringer XR18 and trying to get an iPad connected up to it with the X-Air Mix app without reading the Quick Start Guide. I wasn't so lucky, as I realized the REMOTE Switch settings needed a quick Glance. I will be testing the XR18 for an in-house rehearsal in a couple of days and will try to post my thoughts and results.

does the P16’s use the power from the XR18 through the cat5 or does each P16 need to use it’s own wall-wart?

Does it look possible in the tablet app to link two xr18's together. Use one as your main inputs. Then the second as a send and return bus? So the idea would be to have in my case a synth on inputs 1 and 2 of the first xr18, then in the software send those channels out of two of the aux channels on the second mixer, into an external effects box, then back in two inputs on the second xr18 and out the mains on the first xr18. I know this type of routing is possible on an x32 but I never knew if that could span mixers.

Thanks for your lessons, although I do not speak enough English, I understand, my question is:
I understand that is possible by software x-air edit control all functions of the mixer, using a network cable (CAT 5). if this is true, it could be the mixer on stage and laptop to 10 -15 meters, in front of the stage.

It is beyond me why does behringer place all the outputs etc on front of the board??? I mean one of the the main reasons of racks is for an already plugged in setup! Apart from the mess that is normally hidden behind in the rack! Very clever I must say!

When I am mixing in the show with this XR-18 the WiFi connection automatically disconnected. What is the reason for that?

I purchased both the xr18 and the xr32 compact and find the preamps terrible!... I'm very annoyed at way Behringer advertise these preamps! They cleverly state "Midas Designed Preamps" What is that!!! They ARE NOT the preamps used on the Midas consoles!! So Behringer deceive us in the way they state this!!

I studied 40hrs videos on this piece of shit and sadly it didn't work it has a lot of issues like latency interference from radio frequency and the worse is it keep on disconnecting even if you change channels my advice don't waste your money and time on this workless crap
