I just started playing again (only played literally when TFT dropped) and placed in gold. I’m hoping TFT finally gets me my diamond border. I lost my 2-2 final diamond promo game in season 4 and tilted off the face of the earth forever. Chemtech trynd every game to diamond, my season 3 dream 😂

For hextech you have 8 units with a colossus - so are you saying get LVL 9 every game with that? Is silco or vi more important while you are LVL 8?

Just found something absolutely busted. Alistar is more OP than sion. Titans, IE, JG w/ socialite. If you get a frontline socialite hex, im pretty sure its better than irellia because he litterally deletes their backline. Give ali silco mana buff and have renata holding morello so u get scholor ontop of socialite mana gen. Ali just charges around like a bull in a china shop killing everything, and he doesnt need a QSS coz colossus. This set i have been seeing a bigger and bigger need for QSS, and i've really started to like ali or cho carry coz u get a 4th item slot practically from colo passive.

I'd be interested to see an optimized Double Trouble comp, but I'd wager the strength of the augment lies in it's ability to accelerate econ rather than the raw stats it provides. With that in mind, Yordles would be the obvious choice, considering the 32 gold you get from selling all the free 2 costs.

My only problem about the game right now is the 80% generic unfun/boring augments.
80% of my game is like playing old tft without your augments. Thats just how it feels right now

Awesome guide! So with the Irelia Socialite build, you say to only go BT if you're only going to put in 2 socialites. Do the BT and Socialite vamp not stack? I can't find the answer anywhere online

in the first build, and any other really (im fairly new to tft) how to position if enemy has like 1 or 2 assassins? and they jump and eat your silco right away

I really like playing Arcanist Ahri, like 6 Arcanist + Morgana + Braum, or if you get a spat 8 Arcanist is super good, both times I played the 8 one my Ahri kept getting zephyred and everyone was dead before she came down

For Irelia, her skill doesn't apply last whisper for some reason, so I wouldn't build it on her

You talked a little about emblems for comps, when you get these do you tend to use them as a replacement for a unit, or do you use it to try hit the next level of that trait?

One game I managed to get 7 Chemtech and 8 challengers and I still got 2nd place. I have had some tough lobbies lately. I think my items were not distributed optimally either. But still, the attack speed was nuts. I lost to heavy CC teams with Ori and Galio.

I finished placements at Silver 1 just by spamming innovated/hex tech. 8hex just feels really solid imo. Im constantly getting top 4 with it.

6 Hextech 2 twin shot Lucian AP carry is highly under rated, I recommend it

Just tried 8 bruisers comp with cho as your main tank, rek sai as first carry then give item to kha zix later into the game. Augments are disintegrate 3, bruiser heart 1 and celestial blessing 2.
