Under German objections to the treaty you don't even give a bullet point to the reparations, which most scholars would say were crippling and outrageous. Moreover, the failure to meet payments could lead to further seizures of territory.

Oh, come on Simon.  Rathenau may have been Jewish and may have been hated for that reason.  But he negotiated the 1922 treaty with the USSR and was accused of being too chummy with the Jewish Bolsheviks.
