📽 Loalwa Braz may not resonate with you right away, but for sure, you have heard the very popular song that catapulted to fame. It's a 1989 song called "Chorando se foi" but it's most known for the dance that goes with it. The Lambada. I personally love that song, and scrolling thru the comments some years ago, I saw a lot of RIPs. She had died. I learned that she had battled cancer, so my first thought was that cancer took her life, but I was horribly mistaken.

what a horrible ending to a woman that gave so much joy to the world with Lambada..i remember travelling across Europe in 1990 and that song was playing everywhere in every country..i remember seeing people dancing to it in Italy, Greece, Turkey, France, Malta, spain and Bulgaria... what a special time and beautiful memories it was for me that i still think about today .. R.I.P beautiful

Why in the world was she getting death threats??! A couple of years ago I heard Lambada for the first time in years, which made me look the band up...only to read about the horrific way Loawla died.😥 It still shocks and disgusts me. Why couldn't they just leave her screaming??! This is the most I've heard about what happened...they are not human. May they rot in jail for what they've done. May Loawla rest in peace.

Some other producers got killed too, not just her. Probably a nasty revenge from the original owner of the song. They were not happy to lose the case. Dont mess with Bolivians!
