Timelapse of the Future: A Climate Change Short Film (4K)

Показать описание
Last year I produced a film centred around the climate crisis in the run-up to COP26. This project was probably one of the most technically complex things I've ever undertaken. The entire film was compiled in After Effects using Red Giant's Trapcode Form. The animations are powered by real climate data that I had to manually output in climate modelling software. The final render time was well over a day… 😵💫
The project started in October 2021, and I worked alongside four South Korean artists and two other UK based artists. We worked remotely for a month and attended five creative camps hosted by The Watershed and Arts Centre Nabi, South Korea. My idea takes the concept of utopia vs dystopia and shows the contrast between our possible pathways post-COP26.
My sincere thanks go to Vic Tillotson, Marton O'Leary, Tony Bhajam, Jon Aitken, Zoe Rasbash, Arts Centre Nabi, Watershed, Bang and Lee, The British Council and The Korean Foundation, without whom this project wouldn't have happened!
