As a teen with low self-esteem (some 40 yrs ago), I believed that my peers were better off than I was. That was until they smoked weed with me. I definitely enjoyed the high, but as I sat there and listened to the others and it dawned on me that they had similar issues. That is when I learned that they were no different than I was. It helped me relate to other people.

People say Paul is dead and the replacement could write better than him but the real reason he got better was because of grass . It all makes sense now

In the movie”Help” they we’re laughing and giggling. It took longer to shoot the movie. Then a dentist turned them on top acid. Which was legal at the time. They tried it and would think they can write better. They never took it when they we’re going to record. Bone night, John accidentally took some before he went to the studio. John was freaking out. George Martin went up to the roof and looked at the stars. John was really into them, he asked George if he could see them. He said yes, in an interview, but I bet John could see them.better then I did.

1966 before the Beatles smoked dope ? Hard to believe. Most of us had been doing it for years by then. LSD came along in 1965. I always thought they were ahead of the scene with all that. Revolver was released in 1966... steeped in the psychedelic culture of the time.
Did you maybe get the year wrong ?

Never realised that Dylan had such an influence on the Beatles, who in turn also contributed to the disillusioned drug culture of the 60's. It seems that Dylan's sole purpose of his visit, was to trigger the downward spiral of the culture influencers greater than he..

There is no "really about" in art.
