I do double 24kg front squat. Does this version hit different muscle groups? Is this a replacement for the front squat or should I incorporate both. Thanks Lebe.

Gets a bit tricky when you need to go heavy and need more ROM.
Problem for me is my legs are very strong so I need heaps of weight and then awkwardly climb up to get more movement.
Usually why I go back to front squatting

The less the knees go forward, the more the buttocks will work. However it requires a great hip mobility too.

Great for me (torn meniscus). Since my injury I can't do full squats (when you touch your feet with your butt).
