I never understood how BF3's multiplayer tied into the main campaign.
In the story, the Russians were only engaging American forces so they could get to Amir Kaffarov before them and secure the lost nukes and avoid a bigger war.

But this game's multiplayer makes it seem like, despite Blackburn's efforts, Russia and the US went to war anyway.

Honestly this would have been better than 2042, sadly all of our new innovations can never capture nostalgia. Games have forgotten about simplicity and just pure gameplay rather they monetize every aspect or pander sadly… gaming isn’t what it used to be bros…
