Learning To Read Sheet Music With Intuitive Note Reading

Let’s learn and practice reading without even knowing the rules. I call this Intuitive Note-Reading, or INR.

To help you get this, I’ve made some “Learning Chunks” on the FiddleHed site. These focused exercises contain short sheet music, tabs and mp3 snippets to guide you on each step of your fiddle journey.

This and all new lesson pages can be viewed for one week after publication with a free trial membership.

Alrighty. Play every day, have fun 😀 and thanks for making music 🙏

Now, go fiddle with it...🎻

very good tip to not worry about sounding worse while reading. even seasoned musicians will not sound as good when reading a piece they have never done before

DO YOU HAVE A FACEBOOK PAGE OR INSTAGRAM WHERE WE CAN FOLLOW YOU? Thank you for your lessons, they are very useful. I can read simple sheet music already but I have to problem play in the right rhythm on the violin....to feel how long a note should be when I am playing. How do you learn this?
