On Friday August 25th 2023 at Starbase, Texas, SpaceX performed a 33 engine static fire of the Starship Super Heavy booster 9, the second booster that will launch on the second orbital test flight of the Starship rocket.
SpaceX confirmed that this was a full duration static fire test, with the number of engines lit still to be known. This is the second static fire test that this particular booster has made.
This Super Heavy booster will be making its Orbital Test Flight sometime in the near future.

We’re so close tie the second flight test. I also like seeing the static fire on your channel so keep that up as well

It amazes me that those engines get close to melting steel and they spray water on them and they still work, whatever they are made of is very very, tough.

That video from the top where the camera is shaking uncontrollably, paired with the phenomenal sound of the engines firing really shows the enormous power this machine has. It puts you in or and makes you respect it.

The booster flame pressure is higher than cooling water deluge system so no water flows... fix it please

All these problems are due to the presence of high gravity on our planet, this spaceship will not have such problems on the moon or Mars.

That was a tease, if I dare say. 50% power, two seconds? Come on Elon, get this baby in space! Your 'water tower can fly' is lonely...
