If statements are the simplest, yet most powerful control structure in a C programmer's toolbox. They allow you to use logic to control what parts of your program execute and when. This is the first video in a three-part subseries on control structures.

Special thanks to my friend Preston Nichols for designing Builderdude35's awesome new introduction and logo!

I've come to your most recent video for a request. Could you either make a video to fix a problem I'm having or PM me, depending on how simple you rate it? I've made 3 My Blocks (No parameters) set up in a Light Sensor switch, looping. When the program senses white, it backs up, turns, then drives forward. For some reason, it waits approx. 3 seconds (This is also the time it waits before starting the program) after the second My Block before starting the third My Block. Do you perhaps know the cause and fix?? (I used 4 Large Motor Blocks to create each My Block (My group has a 4-motor build, all motors are tires))
