Heyo everyone, if you found this video relatable, please feel free to share it around! It helps me out a lot as a smaller content creator and I appreciate it a ton. Hope you're all doing well, please take care!

I'm not even ace and I totally agree.

Even if i put my asexuality aside - isn't it weird that movies consistently put you in the shoes of someone, who basically spies on others during their extremely intimate private time? Makes me feel like a creep.

guess many people don't want to see this scenes, not only asexual ones XD

Omg yes, this is why I don't watch any western movies with my family cuz EVERYTIME theres a scene of a guy and a girl in 1 room, they gon have seggsy time

As an asexual sex repulsed, this kind of stuff is why I just watch cartoons 🤣. It's sad, I'd love just to log in netflix and find something cool without having to worry about getting anxious or uncomfortable.

It's really strange that your channel isn't viral yet, I love it so much you're such a comforting person

As an asexual, this is why I stick to animes or mangas usually. You can tell when a 'frick' scene is gonna come up better I guess in animes or mangas I think, and just be like; haha nope and skip it or change animes/mangas.
I used to be repulsed by 'frick' scenes for a little while, but now I'm just numb to it- considering it can be hard to avoid, it just gets on my nerves at this point. Most of them have no character development arcs or anything- they're just there to exist, for no reason. And it slows the plot of action movies down so much. Or the long kiss scenes? Yeah- Like while there's fighting going on in the background? Annoying.

AND PLS LMAOOOO THE DESCRIPTION SENT ME INTO ORBIT. I ALSO APPRECIATE A GOOD ACTION MOVIE THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE PEOPLE SUCKING EACH OTHERS SOULS OUT OF THE BODIES WITHIN FIVE MINUTES OF MEETING.

Why is this video so relatable 😭 and I don't even know if I'm asexual or not 😌 also, so happy that you uploaded this on my birthday, couldn't ask for a better gift lmao

My god, I couldn't agree more. Especially when those unnecessary adult scenes take up so much of the movie's runtime, that there's not much left for the plot to develop naturally. Makes me wanna scratch my face off out of frustration, man...

Oh gods! This is, and has always been, a major pet peeve of mine.
I don't mind two characters making out or even wrecking a bed, IF it makes sense for both characters and it works for the narrative. This is rare though. Most of the time it's boring, uninspired and unprovoked tonsil hockey that tells me it's time to get a refill or go to the bathroom before the third act happens.
The ones that do bother me, - and this happens way too often - are the ones that get shoehornied into a script with such a lack of narrative lubrication it just insults the audience:
"Oh no, annoyingly meatheaded macho guy who is all the gruffs! The world is going to do an implode in four hours, and only we can stop it!"
"You're right, strong independent yet ditzy science lady who wears heels in an archeological dig, this is an emergency and we have no time to lose! Lets fork!"
And they do, with "Instrumental 80's schlock for wankers 12" playing in the background, the narrative urgency of the situation gets put on hold, until the mandatory Hollywood Shmecksy quota has been filled.
These two "protagonists" made it abundantly clear in actions and words that they do not get along. But since they are the two vertebrate creatures of opposite gender that share the most screen time, hetro-normativity has to be enforced (by law, i'm guessing at this point). So they allo up the screen, presumably so some producer can tic a box and i can get turned off my popcorn.
After the third act, these unlikely survivors of being chased by a serial killer through some infrastructure disaster, - who have known each other for, at best, one harrowing day - decide that they are in a long term romantic relationship now. Because the wounded rescue dog and plot-convenient crotchgoblin bonded over their love of eating Lego or something..
Like, i'm sorry, but they need an EMT to check on several stab wounds, fourteen tetanus shots, and trauma counseling, not a motel room and a babysitter! And they don't need to tongue floss each other again by the light of a burning villain's lair; the score and predictable writing have already informed me that credits are about to roll.
Like i said, i don't mind that it happens, i hate that it happens poorly.

It musst be worse for an aro/ace, but i hate unneccessary hetero-romantic/sexual scenes too

'Frick' scenes just feel like items on a check-list when they're needlessly included. Like, 1) explosions - check. 2) BAMF dude - check. 3) Said dude 'getting' the girl as a type of celebratory reward coinciding with the climax of the movie - check.

Actually - does anyone remember that one scene from Jurassic World? *spoiler alert* Where at the end that one technician guy whom unlocks the T-Rex gate leans in to kiss his co-worker and she halts him with 'Oh, no I have a boyfriend'? I thought that was hilarious! And thought it sorta made fun of the whole shtick of kissing the female side-character/lead. Well. Though, I guess that still happened in that movie anyways...

Mood. Coming from Transformers comics to check out Bayverse movies was such a whiplash.

I'm not asexual but I agree completely, in the type of media I like frisky scenes shouldn't be given so much screen time if they're not plot relevant, and if they are I want more focus on the dialouge instead of having to constantly fast forward.

There's a Youtube ad of just... two people making out. That's the ad. Skip skip skip skip skip

This is how I feel watching the 100. Every 3 or so episodes theres usually a scene like this and 90% of the time it has nothing to do with the plot. Pretty sure we see the characters *eat* less than this kinda stuff

Yeah
I hate when they throw unnecessary "adult fun time" scenes in a already interesting Movie/Series
Example: The Queen's Gambit
