Refreshing to watch an Android review just talk about the Android and the phone. Not some freakin iPhone fanboy sitting there comparing it to his precious the whole time and talking about how great his precious is over the phone in question. Thanks for keeping it straight, tho other reviewers may love talking about precious, I sure as hell don't enjoy listening to it !

Hi Damien. I have listened to every Pixel 6 & 6 Pro review that I can find and have to say that your reviews seem to be the most straight forward. That said, none of the reviews ever mention the one thing that is the most important to me. I still use a phone mostly to stay in touch with others, either through phone calls or texts. None of the reviews ever focus in on signal strength, call quality, or any other info related to the basic functions of a cell phone. I would love to hear how the 6 Pro stacks up against the other elite 5G phones in these basic functions before my new 6 Pro arrives.

@Damien Wilde I have noticed that the battery life is ...fair if I don't view TikTok videos for too long. My best day of screen on time is just under 6 hrs, but for the most part I average about 5.25 hrs. I have not experienced any of the software glitches I've heard about. If Google would send an update to address the battery issues, I would give this phone a 9/10. Currently, because of the sub-par battery life for a 5000 mah battery, I give this a 7.5/10

Pixel 6 is more appealing, to me at least. Flat display, matte side rails, nicer colours available, slightly smaller size

Such a great looking phone. Google has done a great job with the Pixels this year, though it may not be the most powerful phone but it can deliver almost all the tasks you throw at it. My take is, you don't even need the most powerful chip for a phone since you don't really do something that needs it.

If the phone was slightly Cheeper. Had a option to disable QHD and drop down to FHD. Actually toped at 30w to charge. Then it would be a perfect phone in every regard

I got the pixel 6 256gb...almost got the pro but my son uses my phone so decided to stay away from the curved screen(he might crack the screen). All around great phone. Works with metro pcs

I'm glad this device is working for some. Had to rma mine- it would constantly reboot randomly and they only had refurbished units for replacements. I'm going to try again in a couple months.
