"It's okay to document well after the fact, even if you don't have all the details. It's still worth reflecting on the memory." THIS! I needed to hear THIS as I feel so overwhelmed with vacations from years ago still not documented....

❤ I know that its coming up on 2 years since you lost your Mom. 😢 I lost my Dad almost a year before you lost your Mom. Its been so tough losing a parent. Its this very deep pain that changes you. I just wanted to send you some love and a reminder to be gracious with yourself. Grief is such a difficult road and the mark of another year without them is difficult. ❤ I enjoy your videos so much.

Sorry for your loss. My Dad died June 2021. Take your time. There is no road map through grief. I too changed and slowed down.

It's fun to learn that we were married the same month! My dear husband and I were married two weeks before you; he'd outlived his wife of over 40 years when we met. I was 61 and he was 67, so we were both "back in our prime" (those are sequential prime numbers 😉). Happy three years to both of us with our dear husbands! 🥰

your journal is so lovely! You really capture what was the experience like. I was surprised with the picture that was also a pocket. Would def. steal that idea for my journal 😄🙃 This is such an inspiration! 💛

Thank you so much for mentioning that there are not enough stickers out there expressing difficult times. I was struggling with finding stickers in my stash a few weeks ago that captured anxiety or grief or other less positive emotions. I’m sorry to hear about your mother, I relate. Wishing you peace 🥀

I love this video and thank you for sharing. Your journal is fun. I wished that I had journaled more frequently on my grieving period. My mom passed away June 2018. My sisters and I grieved together and apart because the process was different for all three of us. My mom was my mentor and best friend and she was a minister and she taught me the importance of relying on God in all circumstances. If not for that relationship I would not be here. I would have grieved myself to death due to heartache. Sending you love and hugs. ❤

I really loved this video and living vicariously through you. This has given me so many ideas and motivated me to really up my creative journaling process. I do a minimal version now, but would like to incorporate more creative elements. I did dabble in scrapbooking years ago. So, to be able to marry the two (scrapbooking and journaling) is a wonderful thing. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. My mother graduated to heaven in Feb. 2021, so 7 months before your mother. So I do truly know what it is like. I live in Lancaster, so I am familiar with some of the places you mentioned or photographed. Go F&M! Congratulations on the purchase of your new home. I am looking foward to seeing how you make it your own! I wish we lived closer to the church you had mentioned in one of your videos - Glad Tidings, as we (my husband and I) have been looking, and have not found, a good church for us. So sad in a county (Lancaster) of 650 churches! God bless you!

You mention wanting to label photos with who is in them for future people to know.. I do this on the back of all my photos with name, date or year at the least, location if relevant, and if it was a special occasion what occasion it was. I actually had a whole discussion with my grandma about her old photos and doing this with them because I realize one day I'm going to be the one who gets the photos and so much of the ones from her younger years, I can't date or place the names. She told me I was being very extra with that request. But I can say for certain, whoever ends up with my photos will know ALL THE DETAILS! lol. Your journal method is beautiful. I like that you leave blanks for your husband to help. I've considered asking mine to contribute as well but he's so ADD I think he'd struggle since he can't focus to color for more than 5 minutes, bless his heart.

I haven't seen enough of your videos to know some of your basics, so your more established fans probably know ... but I'd love knowing what pen you use for most of your writing. So many pens I like have some serious bleed-through, and I want to use both sides of the page. I got the Moleskine Cahier three-pack and a Moleskine calendar the same size, with one book tucked into each inner pocket. I ordered a cover from Brie, too (I actually learned about you through her!), in wheat like yours but with a sunflower spine. 🌻

I see that the Moleskin Journal is XL but what size is the Cover from Documented Journey?. I love your videos! New to journaling!

Questions or you, how do you get your small photo prints made?

I wish I knew how to get some of the items you use. You do not remember some of them, so I can't find them; the words especially. No worries if you can't remember;

Which printer do you use for the photos in your journal? ❤

Hello, thank you very much for your video, I find it very inspiring and rewarding. I would like to know how the table you present to time code 2:02 "works".
Indeed from what I have perceived it allows you to follow "objectives" and to evaluate where you are by quarters, I am very interested in developing one myself, would you please have the opportunity to explain to me briefly how you go about it? in advance thank you for your return, Agnès
