Favourite moment is at 37:55 when smokey immediately picks up on orange trying to trick him and tells the allies he trusts more, really shows loyalty and a team player, something the rest of them could have used

This game felt like the campaign for Freidrick Barbarossa. Betrayed(?) by allies and always on the verge of death and yet coming back for one last victory

People aren't giving enough credit to blue's diplo skills here. He always knew exactly who to go after and what to say to get people on his side. I mean the first person he attacked in this game was green and yet he convinced him to turn on his other two allies at the end. In fact, he always managed to convince other people to turn. Purple being so flaky and not following blue's lead when he had been telling him from the start that they needed to backstab yellow is the only reason why this game took so long. Blue played this masterfully IMO, he really showed how even a noob with a low score can win a community game with great diplo and good timing.

I really feel bad for yellow this game. Sure they were top score but they were nice to a lot of people. Blue backstabbed and purple and gray were terrible allys.

Man this game came a long way. I used to play off a cd copy of age of kings. No garrison rams, buy cartography, no auto farms. I was trash, never did even play online. Didn't know how. Still did like building forts. My first aoe was the first one on a school computer:)

Yellow held back everyone with a K/D of 2:1, was betrayed by his allies, then proceeded to administer a successful revenge with the cherry on top being his kamikaze to kill an offender's king... amazing...

Here in the U.K. we had a game called Bulldog. We would run the length of a 5 a side pitch and a couple of people would be ‘it’ in the middle. And the goal was to reach the other side. The goal of those ‘it’ was to, essentially catch kids running across, but also to drag them to the floor. Bear in mind, this was basically a *Concrete* playground at school. It was soon banned when one girl broke her arm, and another broke her wrist. They banned everything fun when I was at school 😂
