I had a lotta trouble getting the thing atta there. What I did was carefully align the pin thingee that came with the phone and tapped the back end of it with the handle of a fairly heavy dinner knife after inserting it straight into said hole. it worked. popped it out far enough to grab the ears. What's happening is the thing gets stuck in there if it hasn't been opened in awhile so it needs a bit of persuasion.

I dropped the phone 1 too many times and it now can't write to the card. But whatever I use to open the tray does either nothing or just reboots the phone. Is there any way to force the tray open even if by a technician (nor sure where to find one)?
