Faith The Unholy Trinity is an indie horror game with a pixel art aesthetic. This is how you can get the super secret cursed MORTIS screen in Chapter 2

Although Faith The Unholy Trinity may not seem scary. The atmosphere really builds into something that will have you feeling on edge and terrified by the end.

This gameplay is from Faith The Unholy Trinity by Airdorf

Faith The Unholy Trinity: What you are about to do has not been approved by the Vatican. As a young priest, struggle against demons, insane cultists, and your own weakening faith in this pixel horror game inspired by the era of classic 8-bit gaming and the "Satanic Scare" of the 1980s.

If you'd like to catch more Indie Horror gaming like Faith The Unholy Trinity gameplay you can the action Live on my Twitch channel (Sharkie) or just subscribe and I'll upload some kind of Indie Horror goodness.

the audio is actually a distorted version of the beta death screen, where it said “Mortem” instead of “Mortis”

Another reason to perform proper maintenance on your vehicle. So you don't get stuck in the middle of nowhere with hostile entity's roaming about.

Almost every demon has the same fate, they get hit by a truck.

The Airdorf Truck is a vehicle that appears in every chapter of the FAITH series.

Chapter I
Standing at the road for some time will cause a truck to pass by.

It can also be seen if John returns to his car while still holding the rifle from the Martin house, and then successfully shoots Michael when he attacks. Michael will stumble into the road, bleeding, and then get run over by the truck. This results in Ending 5 "When Faith Endures", with John driving away and wondering if he did the right thing.

Chapter II
During the section where John has transformed into a Wretch, he must travel up and around to the overpass where the traveling couple are standing near their car. If you stand in the road, the truck will inevitably come and run John over.

This installment probably has the most easily missable truck appearance, as you have to go out of your way to get to the area where it is located, and you cannot return to the area after you transform back into a human, requiring you to restart the game before it autosaves if you mess up.

Chapter III
This time, the truck is located on the streets of Hartford, CT, outside the abortion clinic, which John visits on October 28, 1987. A thrall driving an SUV may also appear on the same road.

Trivia
The truck's branding is an Easter egg referencing Airdorf himself, the developer of the FAITH series.
Since the Airdorf truck is the only thing that is capable of killing John while he is a wretch, it happens to be responsible for a unique Game Over screen, where the "Mortis" text is replaced with red scribbles and the audio is a very bit-crushed recording of John saying "Mortem".
There is a Steam achievement for getting run over by the truck in every chapter, entitled "¡Pendejo!"
