00:00 I. Allegretto ben moderato
06:09 II. Allegro
14:20 III. Recitativo-Fantasia
21:40 IV. Allegretto poco mosso

I've counted at least seven other performances done at the UBC School of Music in the past two years. There's a good reason this piece has been so frequently performed here; it is such an amazing piece to play. Definitely my favorite violin piece I've played to date. It has everything I love about classical music - tonality, beautiful moments (just go look at the score and you'll see lots of dolcissimo, molto dolce or similar markings throughout the work), and monumental climaxes (especially starting from around 25:08). The 4th movement is by far my favorite.

I should mention that the piano part is incredibly difficult - certainly far more difficult than the violin part. Therefore, I don't see this piece as just a "violin sonata"; I feel this designation doesn't really give the piano part enough credit.
