“Even though those with whom he has covenanted may be horribly unfaithful to him, he would not divorce them if they would only turn back to him with full purpose of heart.” (Henry B. Eyring, Covenants and Sacrifice [address to religious educators, 15 Aug. 1995], pp. 1–2).
“I do not know who in this vast audience today may need to hear the message of forgiveness inherent in this parable, but however late you think you are, however many chances you think you have missed, however many mistakes you feel you have made or talents you think you don’t have, or however far from home and family and God you feel you have traveled, I testify that you have not traveled beyond the reach of divine love. It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ’s Atonement shines” (“Laborers in the Vineyard,” Ensign or Liahona, May 2012).

“I think we are living in the day of the fulfillment of the word of the Lord given through the Prophet Joel, and repeated by Moroni in his first visitation to the Prophet Joseph.” (1961–A:87, Gordon B. Hinckley, Ready to Harvest)

“The era in which we live is the fulness of times spoken of in the scriptures, when God has brought together all of the elements of previous dispensations. From the day that He and His Beloved Son manifested themselves to the boy Joseph, there has been a tremendous cascade of enlightenment poured out upon the world. The hearts of men have turned to their fathers in fulfillment of the words of Malachi. The vision of Joel has been fulfilled.”
(2001–O:4, Gordon B. Hinckley, Living in the Fulness of Times)

“To be very clear, the best guide you can possibly have for making choices is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the strength of youth. … It’s also important to know what For the Strength of Youth does not do. It doesn’t make decisions for you. It doesn’t give you a “yes” or “no” about every choice you might ever face. For the Strength of Youth focuses on the foundation for your choices. It focuses on values, principles, and doctrine instead of every specific behavior. The Lord, through His prophets, has always been guiding us in that direction. He is pleading with us to “increase [our] spiritual capacity to receive revelation.” He is inviting us to “hear Him.” He is calling us to follow Him in higher and holier ways.”
(“Jesus Christ is the Strength of Youth,” Oct. 2022 General Conference)

“My dear friends, let me repeat, if the Savior were standing here today, He would express His endless love for you, His complete confidence in you. He would tell you that you can do this. You can build a joyful, happy life because Jesus Christ is your strength. You can find confidence, peace, safety, happiness, and belonging now and eternally, because you will find all of it in Jesus Christ, in His gospel, and in His Church.” (Jesus Christ Is the Strength of Youth, Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Oct. 2022)

Thank you for your beautiful artwork of bringing the power and promises of the teachings from the prophets of old and modern-day into our spiritual awareness. You two are very gifted to bring life to words and make them so real.

Thank you very much for your insights and wisdom. It was something I needed to hear in my struggles with my loved one. I need to practice more forgiveness and compassion.

I heard someone else mention that the previous For Strength of Youth pamphlet was a check list, but I never saw it that way so I’m a little surprised. I joined the church just before my 16th birthday and felt it was loving counsel specifically designed for youth in what I felt were challenging times. Maybe if I had grown up in the church I would have felt differently.

Hosea spent thirty years calling people to repentance and faith in God, but the people chose gods instead of choosing the glorified God. Hosea11:9 For I am God, and not man, The Holy One in your midst. Hosea 13: 4 And you shall know no God but Me. For there is no savior besides Me. There is only one glorified God. Regardless of the people's sin, God shows His mercy of the freeing redemption which provides peace and joy, the new covenant in Christ our Lord.
