If you have BMW with xDrive all wheel drive system and you hear clicking from the front cv axle shaft when turning left or right in this video we will demonstrate how to know which cv axle shaft is bad. In some cases it is hard to tell which cv axle shaft is bad on a BMW but we will share what we have found based on our experience. By knowing that you will know whether the front left cv axle shaft is bad or front fright cv axle shaft is bad on BMW. We demonstrated how to know if left or right cv axle shaft is bad on BMW 3 series but the procedure will work on most BMW models with xDrive system.

How do you identify which CV Axle is bad on the REAR of a BMW x5 (F15)? I've got a strong vibration that gets worse with acceleration but is not affect by turning. I took a video of the car while driving and can here clicking which seems to be a bad CV but the sound/noise level is nearly identical on both sides. I cannot physically feel any play on either axle.
