It is impossible to catch ALL possible corner cases at the very beginning.
Person who thinks he is handling ALL corner cases is the one who needs some additional experience.
It will never be possible to catch ALL corner cases and it is not the best idea to delay design/development just trying to think about more corner cases.
With such process at hand you may wait indefinitely.

Great tips for those out there that have interviews at FAANG! I'd say another tip during the first stage of a technical interview is to repeat the question and clarify that you understand it correctly. An interviewer should be able to help guide you into understanding it before asking you to write code. This process will also help you discover any missing pieces before you are ready to begin solving on the board.
