Heart to Heart

“A Silent Voice” or “ The Shape of Voice” is one of the greatest movies I’ve ever watched. The writing was absolutely amazing, the characters felt real and the pacing was excellent. It’s one of those movies I feel everyone needs to watch at some point in their lives. It’s truly a masterpiece. I made this video for a few reasons.

One is that I want people to enjoy this movie as I have. I want others to be able to share appreciation of this film or find something new to watch. I want to do my part to spread the word.

Another reason is to bring to attention this movie's message, which I feel can be different for people. It’s a complicated and in-depth movie, and I feel that it makes people search for what they want to feel.

Finally, I wanted to make a video dedicated to this movie, and I heard this song and thought it was a good choice. Admittedly, it’s not long enough and the message of the song only sort of fits my interpretations of the film.

Honestly this movie is such a good movie, with such great and relatable characters. I personally kin Shoya, but all the characters are relatable in some aspect. The amount of chat or development everyone goes through, especially the two main characters is insane, and it’s beautiful. It made me cry so many times, and this song fits with the movie so well

me and my friend used to talk about this movie a lot. he and i were both going through some kinda rough stuff, and we really related to shoya and some of the other characters. we had practically everything in common, especially for our love for really creative things. i remember one time he told me the first time he watched it he balled his eyes out, and it made me really sad. it made me sad because i knew if he cried, he had to be thinking the same stuff shoya did. that's why i cried, anyway.

we don't talk at all anymore. he really is a different person. popular, funny, cool, the typical guy that everyone loves. but, i still sometimes catch him staring at me, and i catch myself staring at him. i guess we still have that connection, no matter how little we talk.

maybe one day we can have a heart to heart conversation like we used to.

This movie is a real harsh truth about life and it teaches you a lot of things. But it's so depressing and heart wrenching, so only watch if you can handle it or if you want to cry. Awesome edit, I'll probably watch it again. Another good anime is Your Name if you guys are interested in these sad and beautiful anime
