This was an informative interview and I really appreciate the specific questions asked for Dr. Baskovich.

It so important that this condition gets more awareness. I have spoken to many people impacted who spent years without a diagnosis and treatment. I fall into this statistic too. It took 14 years of progressively worsening neurological symptoms to receive my diagnosis of Atlantoaxial Instability and Cranial Cervical Instability. By the time my CCI treatment began, I had become dislocated and was experiencing high risk symptoms. I consider myself exceptionally lucky to have received stabilization, that I am walking again, and overall am doing much better, though I still have a long road ahead.

I hope more people will learn about this condition. Especially for folks out there who may be able to manage their condition with the right treatment plan and care and without as high risk of an operation like I required.

Wishing you well in this channel and with this awareness building.
