The HP Omen Transcend 32 is a QD-OLED gaming monitor that blurs the line between gaming and professional-grade displays. Its 31.5-inch 4K panel delivers stunning color accuracy and HDR performance, paired with a lightning-fast 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time. Despite initial drawbacks like its massive power brick and underwhelming SDR brightness, this monitor shines with its unique features: a KVM switch for seamless multi-device use, customizable Professional and Gaming modes, and an impressive USB-C port with 140W power delivery. Priced at $1,300, the Omen Transcend 32 offers a premium experience for gamers and creators alike.

Just bought one refurbished for 650 on eBay. I'll update yall if i remember to but the monitor looks insane.

Update: this monitor is a complete game changer. I upgraded from the Dell SW34DWG and that was a 144hz 1440p UW VA panel. This monitor completely destroys that one and its not even close. Games are so incredibly sharp and clear, and the deep blacks of the OLED make some games look completely new, like im seeing them for the first time. If you can get a good price on this display I HIGHLY recommend!

I went through probably every major QD OLED monitor on the market until I settled on this one. It has the most comprehensive set of features without looking really "gamery" imo.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for and I’m SHOCKED that it’s coming from HP. As a Mac user, it’s great to see the inclusion of a macOS colorspace, more than one USB-C that will allow for daisy chaining, 4k QD-OLED, power deliver on all USBs, and white?! Take my money!!! My only concern is that power brick and using it with my Ergotron HX dual monitor arm. Thank you for this review.

4k, 240hz, QD-OLED and 32". Those specs 10 years ago would have been myth 😂😅

Just an FYI for buyers from retailers rather than HP. If you ask to update the warranty based on the purchase date (rather than when they send it to best buy) HP will lower your warranty from 3 years to 1. Their automated system does not understand the 3 year warranty and neither do their staff. I have been on the phone with HP 4 times for multiple hours and they still claim I have 10 months left for a 3 year warranty on a product that has been out mere months.

I've an HP Envy 32 monitor with integrated Bang & Olufsen speakers, 2x 6W according to a quick Google.

Surely the HP Omen Transcend 32 integrated speakers are better?

I think that's the largest single power brick, but my MSI Titan GT76 dual bricks definitely take up more space. I've never disassembled a power brick, and I've often wondered why they are so brick-shaped, and why are they external? Wouldn't making it a flat shape and layering it into the device be a better engineered solution?

Your reviews are getting better & better. Good job

More B-roll of the products being reviewed and less screen time on the person reviewing it would be better.

The power brick wouldn’t bother me, the monitor seems like it doubles up as a dock which will save some space and cabling in other ways. Only just recently discovered this monitor, I’m thinking it’ll either be this or the G8.

What do you recommend between this or the LG 32GS95UV-B ?

The cooling fan is a major flaw on this pricey monitor. It was louder than my HP notebook which have loud fans. It started blowing a substantial amount of heat out the top grill into my small office. Major deal breaker. Firmware update and lighting was an issue but i didnt pursue further as the loud fan and heat exhaust was shocking at this price point and i packed it up to go back to HP after a couple hours of light office work use.

If you dont mind loud fan noise, substantial heat exhaust, and insanely large power brick, a weird slippery by design stand, temperamental firmware updates and led lighting, it is a gorgeous monitor.

Is it possible to use the stand for HP Omen 32q with this monitor?

If it came in a black option I would definitely consider it.

Btw it has a gimped DisplayPort 2.1 port. It’s only uhbr10 not the full uhbr20 spec like the gigabyte 4k 240hz oled has. So you still need dsc to run 4k 240 so it’s dumb and redundant. That was the only issue I found with your review.
