When will Bloomberg, and YouTube, realize that their Chinese audience will never come through for them?

I never knew they used the old Soviet flag like that. China now seems to be what the Soviets dreamed of becoming.

Reducing poverty is not a story of "20-30 year ago". 30 years ago meat and milk were not daily foods. 20 years ago I couldn't imagine owning a family car. Education changed dramatically. My school, South China Agricultural University had 3000 students when I join in 1998 (I thought it was huge then), and educating 20, 000 students today.

As a Chinese, I see with my own eyes how my family is able to enjoy the lifestyle we could never dreamed for 20 years ago. My small hometown has bullet train that has shortened our trip to visit grandma from over a day to about 4hr. My parents are really nobody, but they have decent health insurance, happy social life after retirement, freedom to travel(before pandemic). They can take a walk in the neighborhood after dark and nobody will point a gun at them or push them to the ground. And just if you are interested, my city just fixed our Buddhist temple damaged by a storm. CCP is far from perfect. No party is perfect. But as an ordinary person, what else can you ask for?

Each sentence President Xi spoke is a significant "TakeAway". He covered all aspects. Overall Bloomberg did a good job of covering the speech with good faith but tend to misinterpret and misplaced in few areas.
President Xi is the right leader of China at the right time. China needs him for another three decades to cement and stabilize the socio-eco development and as World's only Super power.

I am amazed with all these negative comments from mostly those ignorant of international affairs, and the history of China, Asia and the world at large. The man Bloomberg interviewed is only interpreting the takeaways of the CCP 100th anniversary, and to me he is quite on point and without bias. Just because you do not agree or dislike CCP, you can't shoot the messenger.

So when Chinese are patriotic, it's nationalism, but when Americans are nationalist, we are just being patriotic. Got it.
