Bet you didn’t know these HELLDIVERS 2 TIPS for finding and using the SEAF Artillery

You'll spot it on your map as a dark circle with a grey dot in the middle. Look closely, and you'll see a tiny grey line indicating the barrel.

Around the turret site you'll find about 7 shells.

Now, here's a little trick for ya: you can move faster if you spam the pickup button and juggle the shell you’re tryin to carry

Your job? Load 5 of 'em up and activate the artillery via the terminal.

Once it's primed, you'll get a new stratagem to unleash some serious democracy.

Now, pay attention to the shell types:

- Green tip: Explosive, like an orbital precision strike.
- Yellow tip: High yield explosive, packs a punch like a 500kg bomb.
- Grey tip: Smoke, for some cover like a smoke strike.
- Blue tip: Static field, zaps 'em like an orbital EMS strike.
- Red tip: Napalm, burns 'em up like an eagle napalm strike.
- Black tip: Mini nuke, wipes 'em out like a Hellbomb.

Remember, the shells fire in the order you load 'em, so keep track!

Very important note, mini nuke shells pack enough punch to destroy things that even the 500kg can’t. If it requires a hellbomb to blow up, such as a bot aircraft spawner, the mini nuke shell can kill it without the hassle of arming and defending the hellbomb.

To make the process easier, carry the shells close to the turret before you start the terminal, once you start the terminal is when the bugs start spawning

Lvl 92 here i have an even better trick for moving faster while carrying SEAF artillery shells. While spamming E to drop them press 1 to also switch your weapon sometimes your character will yeet the artillery shell forwards. Takes some practice and if you dont time it right sometimes your character will throw the shell backwards instead of forwards

The SEAF should still be available even after the SUPER DESTROYER have left.

Most useful shells: Nuke, High Exp, Napalm, Exp.
Never load smoke, static as a last resort.

Don’t insert the shells untill you have the five you want dropped by the loader bay. This will hold the wave of enemies off untill you start installing the shells. This gives you plenty of time to bounce.

If you stand a little in front of the shells (so the prompt to pick up still appears) and pick it up BUT switch weapons before the shell hits your helldiver’s hands, you can toss them. Distance tossed will depend on yours and the shells angle

Even better tip, if you switch weapons AS you pick up the items, your character will TOSS it forward or upwards depending on if you are walking/standing, etc.
Pick up, switch, launch the item forward.

Another tip: locate all the shells, to plan your load order, stack them by the loader port, and activate once you’ve got your 5 shells!

Turning on the terminal attracts patrols nearby!
