You should be seeing numbers in the 50+ mph range with 3s. Your esc might be in training mode.

What you mean it have been used only 5 or 6 times so its still a good battery? How many times can we use a LiPo battery, 20 times and it's done, and you need a new one???

The math adds up perfectly when accounting for heat and aero resistance. I'm still a noob but kv is RPM's which is equal to volts multiplied by the kv rating. 1s would render 15.5~mph, 2s = 30mph, 3s = 44mph, 4s = 64~mph. Awesome video to demonstrate the brushless concept to a noob.

Those stock shock towers turn bad after a little while of running it. I'd upgrade those when possible.
