Sergio Marchionne says automakers duplicate way too much spending on new factories and equipment as well as R&D, and that half of that spending is for components and technologies that are “undiscernible to the customer.” He wants more mergers because he believes FCA could save 4.5 billion euros a year.

Mark-ee-oh-ney! Not march-ee-ohn. By trying to pronounce it correctly, you're pronouncing it completely incorrectly!

Their cars have been tragically unreliable, and low-quality. It's like they're the new Kia.
FCA doesn't get enough criticism how poorly made their cars are, because they have the novelty and legacy of their badges. Meanwhile Kia, a brand that doesn't have a long lineage of iconic cars and is still synonymous to the general public as a shit box rental car, is still being snubbed and mocked.
I hear this a lot: " It's a fucking Kia. " " Ew. That's Kia. " " Kias are shit. "
These kind of comments are just so bias. They've never read quality and reliability studies.
