This one hit me. I’m struggling greatly. I’ve even had suicidal thoughts come and go. I have almost gone through my first year without my mom. We lived together and were so close. I have a lot of medical challenges. I had already lost my dad 24 years ago when I was a kid yet. Through all that I’ve been through, I’ve always had my mom there. We had just gotten home from a day out. I went to rest for a little bit and joined her. I thought she was asleep but I found her not breathing. I tried all that I could to save her. The emergency crew and doctors tried but it was my mom’s time l God called her home. I struggle with nightmares and flashbacks yet. I struggle with feeling alone. I really needed to hear this tonight. Thank you.

Beautiful song.
Within about a 3 1/2 year period, I’ve lost my son, my dad and my husband. During this time my brother was also diagnosed with cancer ( he’s ok now)
It’s amazing how quickly people go on with their lives while the grieving ones are just trying to muddle through the day. I’ve been guilty of doing this too.
This song reminds me that even when I feel like I’ve been deserted by people.God hasn’t left my side

Reminds me of Psalms 46:1-3  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

This song, from this “extraordinary” family, has blessed my heart at a troubling time my 38 yr. old son is going through, & has my heart in broken pieces. But this song, has been my encouragement, & God has given me reassurance, of “ the God I DO know”, & how my son’s problem “ is God’s problem “, so it’s going to be alright!
