hi friend! as mentioned in the video, i have been quite busy working on a project that i'm keeping a secret for just a little longer. i haven't had much opportunity to vlog my days as they have been fully focused on the project hehe. i can't wait to share it with you shortly!!

in the meantime i thought i'd film a "what i eat in a week" video, but across only a few days i guess lol. hope you are doing well~

take care,
annika

Actually, as children the taste buds are far more sensitive to specific flavors, which is one reason why children tend to be picky eaters. As we age, the taste buds chill out, and the palette is able to expand.

15:09 Annika, a little tip about eggs. Just spin it on the table, if it spins quickly, it means it's cooked. If it is slow, then the egg is raw. With love❤

One of the most annoying parts about moving away from your parents to live by yourself is to come up with food to cook each day. That's why I love these kinds of videos. Simply a great source of inspiration that's entertaining at the same time.

lol I had a very similar experience w eggs - except my ‘forced’ exposure came through cooking for myself from the start of college and meat being too pricey for me to justify buying every week 😅

I love your food vlogs because they inspire me to eat healthier. It's always interesting to see what you're eating/cooking, so thank you for posting videos like these. As far as the tastes changing thing, when I was a kid I used to ABHOR onions. I couldn't stand the smell, texture or taste of them, and I refused to eat anything that had even the slightest hint of onion in it. But now that I'm an adult I love onions. I now eat foods I used to avoid, like salsa, chili, etc., and I love the bold flavor that onion adds to them. I even like the smell now. So yeah, your tastes change as you age, sometimes in very unexpected ways.

Yeah, I’m still that place where I do not like eating eggs at all. The smell and taste is.. not particularly something I enjoy. But In the future I would not be surprised if I develop a liking for it! My mom didn’t like tomatoes at all growing up but now it’s one of her favorite veggies (or well, it’s technically a fruit? haha).

Your breakfast reminds me of "eggs in a frame" from home economics class. So yummy to see all your meals.

I definitely know what you’re talking about with not liking certain food and then liking them. I used to despise tomatoes when I was younger. They’d make me feel sick if I could taste them when eating them with dinner. Now I love them sm I crave them🤣🤍
