I've had friends that were like younger siblings to me that were 16 or so. Anytime ANY sort of conversations went to any sexual manor or any specific way that was NOT appropriate (by them bringing it up and I'd never bring that up to a minor myself), it's simple to state, this is not a conversation we should be discussing, go ask your parents or a school counselor about this, and move on. I've had like 2 people that honestly, without me, they would have probably attempted su1cide or something because they were mentally unstable with no one to talk to about anything like that. Having been there, I try to lend an ear, some advice on what I've done (making sure anyone knows I'm not a professional and can only be an ear/friend) and that's it. To discuss anything sexual/inappropriate is quite gross when it comes to a minor. Period. End of. If conversations get too weird, and make you uncomfortable, and keep going, you tell them you can no longer talk with them AND BLOCK THEM.

Ironically, Blair did what a lot of the MLM people she called out did: she failed to pay her taxes properly. Given what Oz shared with us a couple of months ago, this is just the beginning for her troubles with the tax man and it couldn't happen to a better person. What money she makes is being mismanaged through all the stupid and spiteful lawsuits she keeps filing and through living above her means. Steamboat Willie Era Mickey becoming Public Domain is long overdue and a true Disney L that they've deserved for years. YandereDev is a sicko who preys on minors. Yandere Simulator is a giant self report about his deviant ways and as the adult in the situation, it was his responsibility to shut down anything inappropriate and I have no mercy for him. I'm choosing to continue condemn him and I think his excuse of a game and himself should just be scrubbed from the internet altogether.

Two things I want to say about the Yanderedev situation. First, grooming doesn't have to be between a child and an adult. There's a form of grooming between adults that involves a power imbalance. I do agree that people often use grooming incorrectly when they should just use abuse as the catch-all term.

Second, I think it's possible for younger people and adults to have perfectly fine, strictly platonic friendships. I play DnD and other ttrpgs with groups at our local game store, and our ages range from 15-40. The thing is, we KEEP it friendly. I've watched some of the kids in our group grow up, and it's no different than proudly seeing my niece or nephew do the same. I feel like you shouldn't be worried about being friends with people unless you have bad intentions, but I don't think normal people have to go out of their way to not think sexual thoughts about kids. Idk, I'm kind of rambling. I think I'd use Crank games and Markiplier as an example. Ethan was very young when they became friends, I believe he's about 10 years younger? I don't remember if he was a minor, but he was still quite immature in that endearing way that kids and teens are. To no ones surprise, they have a very lovely friendship because Markiplier isn't a creep.
