For everyone saying they spent too much…thats kinda the point. The cost of weddings are INSANE. And unless mommy & daddy are paying for it theres no point in having a regular wedding.

Obviously to each their own. Its your special day do what you want to do. But this was a very helpful video to see just how insanely expensive weddings are.
Someone I used to know just got married. It seemed from the video they had minimum 150 people there. I can’t imagine how much it cost.
Also their photographer was horrible (to me) it looked like something someone would do in a beginner’s photography class. (Stating this because they probably didn’t have to pay much for her) but thats another thing you pay for what’s important to you.

I think the quality of the photos of your wedding is more important than inviting people to your wedding you won’t even talk to in a year.
I think having a good DJ/live music is more important than paying for bridesmaids and groomsmen.

But point is- everything of importance is different to everyone.

I understand that this is cheaper than most weddings, which leads me to question why we put so much money in a party when most of us can barely afford our basic living expenses. I just wish we didn't have this mentality because people stress so much over having a fancy wedding they literally go in debt. If you have the money snd want to do that cool, but ill put 14-20k down on a house instead thank you.
