Many years ago I worked as a gas engineer in the UK I had a call out to an old ladies house her house stunk of plug in air fresheners to the point my eyes watered she had a budgie in a cage when I commented on it she said it was the 4th one in 3 months they kept dying I said it could be your plug in fresheners she unplugged them immediately a week later I went back the budgie was still alive and thriving. 12 months later the same talk about canary in the coal mine 😂
